We can scan plans, drawings, maps and other documents including A1 and A0 drawings in black and white to either TIF (Tagged Image File Format) or PDF (Portable Document Format) files on our large format scanning facility on the Xerox 6204 up to 600 dpi.
 

High Volume Archiving

If you are running out of space in your office we can scan your old drawings for easy storage and retrieval just give us a call and we can provide you with a quotation.

Free up storage space by archiving old plansUsing software designed specifically by Xerox we can de-speckle, skew and rename the files for easy recognition. This allows you to view and reprint old drawings if necessary very quickly direct from the PDF files.

We can scan drawings from dyeline paper, plain paper and tracing paper, we will of course return all your drawings so you can decide when they need to be discarded. Drawings can be scanned at 600 dpi which means approx 500 A1 scans can fit onto a standard CD Rom. If you wish to spread the cost of the drawing archiving we can arrange to complete the scanning over several months.
